We are guardians of the brand Unimed: The National Confederation of Medical Cooperatives - Unimed do Brasil was founded on November 28, 1975 to be the institutional representative of the Unimed cooperatives. The organization watches over the use of brand and reputation on the national level and brings appeals and contributions to public authorities, regulators and health sector entities, spreading best practices in pursuit of ever more transparent, ethical and legalistic approaches. Unimed do Brasil also coordinates one of the main differentials of Unimed, known as National Exchange, which is the service of the beneficiary of one Unimed by another, as long as its contracted plan allows the practice. Another assignment is to act in favor of the economic and financial sustainability of Federations and Singular Unimed through consultancies and offer of products and projects recognized for their quality.
